Erin is a Product Design Lead at Percolate, a thoughtful technology company building the leading content marketing platform. Percolate works with global brands including Unilever, GE, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and MasterCard. As a designer Erin enjoys the challenge of turning ideas into working systems. Before Percolate, Erin worked at digital marketing agency Resolute, leading the design of mobile apps and websites.
Andrew Mercando is a product designer at Skillshare, an online learning community where the world’s best experts teach real-world skills. Prior to Skillshare, Andrew was as an interaction designer at R/GA working on projects like Converse.com and Nike+. Andrew attended Carnegie Mellon University where he studied Communication Design and Human-Computer Interaction.
Chet’s career has seen him champion the role of digital in shaping new ideas and better marketing approaches for brands at some of the most innovative agencies in the world. At Droga5, Chet is responsible for leading a team that drives how brands come to life in the evolving digital landscape, devising approaches that result in new and more effective kinds of ideas.
Previously, he was the Executive Director of Strategy at digital creative agency The Barbarian Group, where he led the strategy and analytics group across accounts including Pepsi, GE, Samsung, Google and others. Chet also previously led digital strategy at Anomaly New York for clients including Converse, Coca-Cola, Jawbone and Virgin America.
Aaron Schildkrout is the co-founder and co-CEO of HowAboutWe.com, where he oversees product development, design, data and engineering strategy.
He co-founded HowAboutWe with childhood friend Brian Schechter in 2009, with the goal of creating a new way for people to fall in love and stay in love. HowAboutWe has launched three best-in-class products: HowAboutWe Dating, HowAboutWe for Couples and The Date Report.
Ryder Ripps is a Conceptual artist and Creative Director who as of 2014 still writes his own bios.
Joe is the Director of Product Development at Prolific Interactive where he oversees the creation of mobile products for startups and leading brands. After studying art he moved his focus to software prototyping and development for the web. With the Prolific team he continues his love of making beautiful, fun and connected experiences.
Jake Katz is the VP of Audience Insights & Strategy for REVOLT – a new multi platform TV network created by Sean "Diddy" Combs. In his current role, Katz is advising the company on how the Millennial media consumer is demanding a new relationship between creator and consumer. His focus is to debunk existing generalizations about the generation, and instead use it as a framework for identifying the new rules of consumer engagement and media strategy – enabling industries to extract value out of disruptive behaviors, versus stare at them in awe and panic.
Mark is a partner and the design director at Pensa where he leads and mentors a diverse group of multi-faceted designers. Throughout his 15+ years in the product design industry, Mark has received numerous design awards and is an inventor on dozens of design and utility patents. Ranging across a variety of fields, Mark’s clients have included: Panasonic, Pepsi, Microsoft, Chobani, OXO, McDonald’s, and Samsung. Mark holds a BFA in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
Simon’s career path has taken him from “go-fer” to C-suite, but he retains the hunger, tenacity and dedication to constantly challenge himself and his team to go to the next level. Involved in the creation of the Ceros platform from Day one, Simon has helped to shepherd Ceros through a host of upgrades, innovations and revolutions. He admittedly fixates on revolutionizing the way brands can use technology to communicate with and mobilize customers.
R.G. is the Director of Strategy at Carrot Creative, an agency that builds brands on the social web. He has spent his career helping brands define and solve problems through digital content and experiences. He believes in the power of simplicity, transparency and brands that show rather than tell. He likes to fill his free time experiencing a good mix of high & low culture to keep himself honest.
Over the years, he's had the opportunity work with a number of great brands, including Target, MTV, Oreo, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Wilson, Barilla, iRobot and Travelocity.
Matt Chmiel is a Senior Content Strategist in the Product Design Group at Code and Theory, a digital agency that creates products, content and brand campaigns across platforms. Matt plays a key role in all of Code and Theory's newsroom embeds and has led several focus groups about user behavior on publishing sites. As content strategist, Matt has a unique industry expertise in how users engage with, share, and consume content online. Current and past clients include: Ebony magazine, Time Inc., Hearst, The Los Angeles Times and Vogue.
Rebecca is Vice President of Partner Relations for News Corp within the technology team. She is passionate about the news and information business and has focused her career on helping to develop, sustain, and innovate within it. Rebecca’s last role was as Vice President of Marketing for The Daily, the original daily news product created for tablet and mobile devices. Prior to The Daily she ran marketing and circulation for The New Republic, where she helped revitalize its brand and expand its reach in print and online.
Lauren is a product manager who has a background working as a designer at startups and newspapers. Notably, she played a key role at startups Publish2 and Spot.us which were both working toward new models for digital content publishing. She also worked as the news applications editor at The Seattle Times, where she was hands-on between sales, the newsroom and developer teams to build new storytelling tools.
As the Director, Convergent Media Scripps Networks Interactive, Chad provides leadership on mobile and social media trends and strategies for the website, ad sales, marketing and on-air teams at Scripps, as well as social media guidelines to be adopted by the company’s top senior executives. Prior to his current role, Chad served as Director of Innovation for Scripps’ business development emerging ventures team, a group focused on evaluation, creation and management of the disruptive innovation process. Utilizing innovations he made throughout his career in information technology and online analytics, Chad trained Scripps employees on disruptive innovation principles, and researched new interactive opportunities for the company in both the Food and Lifestyle categories. Chad began at Scripps in 2005 as Director of Online Analytics after leaving Healthology, Inc. as the IT Director.
Nick Fortugno is a game designer and entrepreneur of digital and real-world games based in New York City, and a founder of Playmatics, a game development company. Playmatics has created a variety of digital and real-world games for organization including the iOS game Red Bull Focus, AMC (such as the CableFAX award winning Breaking Bad: The Interrogation), Disney, the Corporation of Public Broadcasting, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the Red Cross/Red Crescent. For the past ten years, Fortugno has been a designer, writer and project manager on dozens of commercial and serious games, and served as lead designer on the downloadable blockbuster Diner Dash and the award-winning serious game Ayiti: The Cost of Life.
Guido has been a designer of visual experiences for over 25 years, from graphic design and digital media to film/video and motion graphics. He started in digital media at Nicholson NY, where he designed everything from award-winning CD-ROM and website projects, to touchscreen interactive museum exhibits.
Guido has received numerous industry awards and his work has been featured in Communication Arts and Graphis, as well as at the Siggraph Electronic Theatre.
Guido lives in Brooklyn, with his wife Leslie.
Jules Ehrhardt is Partner at ustwo, where he oversees the studio’s US expansion and operations.
Jules brings over a decade years of experience in digital product design and development to the party, ranging from commercial negotiation, talent recruitment and project delivery to senior company management. He's assembled design and engineering teams for some of the world’s leading brands in diverse industries including consumer electronics, retail, investment and retail banking and TV.
Jon Jackson is responsible for the creative direction and execution of large- scale initiatives at Huge. In his role, Jon collaborates closely with the Visual and Interaction Design teams to develop concepts and strategies for some of Huge’s largest clients including Target and Gucci. Specializing in building well-known, consumer-facing brands and extending engagement through traditional and digital media, Jon has over 14 years of experience in art direction.
Prior to joining Huge, he worked at SapientNitro as an Associate Creative Director, where he collaborated with such clients as Coca-Cola, Sprint, Yahoo!, Disney, Nissan and Sony. In addition, he’s developed creative solutions for clients such as Nike, Acura, Toyota, Chrysler, Microsoft, Sony Pictures, Nokia and Warner Brothers.
